Ground Floor PT is dedicated to building a better foundation of pelvic health! Education on the basics of the pelvic floor is essential for building that foundation. We have provided short snippets of foundational information on Instagram for a year and we are taking it a step further now. Announcing a series of community classes to spread this knowledge far and wide.

You have 2 opportunities to catch each topic; one $15 and one that is pay-what-you-can donations. All proceeds go towards providing sliding scale and pro bono treatments for low-income and uninsured patients.

Pelvic Floor 101

November 11 and 18

The first step to getting better is knowing what is normal! This class will establish the normal pelvic floor muscle functions so that you can identify if you need help and how to get it.

4th Trimester and Pelvic PT

December 2 and 16

The body goes through phenomenal changes throughout pregnancy but Birth is not the end of the story! The physical changes during the post partum “4th trimester” time period can be equally intense. Learn how Pelvic floor PT can help with rehabilitation after giving birth!

Leaking is Never Normal

January 13 and 27

There is a widespread myth that leaking urine is normal after giving birth, or having surgery, or aging. The truth is that Leaking is Never Normal at any age! Learn how the pelvic floor muscles function to stop leaks and how pelvic floor PT can keep you dry for a lifetime!

Comprehensive Sex Ed

February 3 and 10

Sex is about healthy relationships and pleasure, so why do we only learn about abstinence and shame? Learn everything they didn’t teach you in high school! This course is geared towards 18+ year olds.
